Reviewed: La Prairie Skin Caviar Harmony L’Extrait

I’ll start by admitting that I may not be the best guinea pig for this kind of product. I’m 29 and don’t have many wrinkles yet, but I’m a firm believer in starting a rejuvenating skincare routine at a young age if you want to see those lasting results. I was also incredibly intrigued by the technology offered by this product.

Presented in the brand’s signature cobalt blue bottle, Harmony L’Extrait immediately looks luxurious. Although using the product for a week was not a together a lot of time, I definitely noticed my skin starting to feel firmer and even brighter. I should also note that the product has a bit of a strong scent, which I usually don’t like. If this bothers you or your skin is sensitive to fragrance, this is definitely something to keep in mind.

I also admit that I have crow’s feet forming around my eyes. It seems no matter how much eye cream I use, my eye area always gets dry (ugh). However, after using Harmony L’Extrait for a while, I noticed a visible difference in hydration around that area and a softening of those lines. I was really happy with it and even noticed a difference around my smile lines which are getting quite deep (what can I say? I love to laugh). I also struggle with breakouts from time to time. The formula isn’t really designed to target breakouts, but my skin still had a little extra glow that wasn’t there before.

Overall I really like this product and think it actually works. I will continue to use it for the next few months to see what kind of results I see then. Again, I knew that given my young age and using this product for a week, there would not be dramatic results. If anything, this can be a great serum to use preventatively. I shared a photo of what my skin looks like now anyway. The fine lines around my eyes have definitely softened and you can tell when I smile. After just a week of use, I’d say it’s extremely impressive.

If you’re looking for a product that’s revolutionary in its technology and could even serve as an alternative to things like botox or a facelift, this might be the one for you. The technology is so revolutionary that I think if you were to start using it in your late twenties or early thirties and stick with it for a while, it would completely eliminate the need for more invasive treatments.
